These are what I call<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> Tokyo box.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">They show the time between Tokyo<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s open and close time<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> which is between 9:00am and 3:00pm in Tokyo time<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> which is between 0:00am and 6:00am in UTC time zone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">So these are basically the Tokyo sessions and let me tell you how you can trade with 3 simple steps.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">3 Steps to trade with Tokyo Box Strategy<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p1\">Highlight the Tokyo session after 6:00am UTC. That way you know exactly where the highest and lowest price of the Tokyo session on that day.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">2. If the price is still within that range<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> and usually it is<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> place buy stop a little over the range<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> and place sell stop a little bit lower price level of that range.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">3. Place stop loss below or above the Tokyo session or somewhere in the middle where there<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s a push back or pull back happening.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p1\">That<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s it!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">And here is why it works and it relates to the tendency of traders in Japan. I am a Japanese trader so I know this well but most of the traders in Japan does <strong>contrarian trading approach<\/strong><span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> meaning they sell when it<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s on bullish trend and they buy when it<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s on bearish trend. And who is hunting the stop loss of Tokyo session<span class=\"s1\">?<\/span> The London session guys. They look for where the stop loss is accumulated in Tokyo session<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> and as soon as they come in to the market in London time<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> they start to hunt the stop loss. That way<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> the chance of winning with this strategy becomes higher. So as you can see<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> on this currency pair<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> it<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s been working like that until yesterday. You see<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> seems it<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s not working on this pair<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> right<span class=\"s1\">?<\/span> like when it breaks<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> it goes back down or up recently. So you don<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>t want to trade this currency pair with the Tokyo Box breakout strategy because it<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s obvious that it<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s not been trustable recently.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The good things about this strategy is that it<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s not only simple<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> but you don<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>t have to be keep watching the price action and place orders. You can just place buy or sell stop after you confirm the Tokyo box<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> and leave it. You know<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> go out and have fun with your family or friends or lovers or whoever<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> and look forward to the outcome. As you see<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> it<span class=\"s1\">\u2019<\/span>s breaking upwards and currently running like $1<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span>300 profit. So I just moved the stop loss to slightly above the entry price so that it becomes either win or break even game. Now<span class=\"s1\">,<\/span> I am expecting the price to go up to the initial target.
